Subject: Re: John, Please call Bill asap re: this $2500 Bill Re: NJCRLC has another bill to pay

John,

On the contrary, there is a great deal of hard information, but I suspect that you lack the time and resources to properly review it all.  As you mentioned in your earlier memo, you are not NJCRLC’s attorney, and in fact have a professional relationship with the NJCRLC Trustee who took the list.  So I do understand your position.I have document from you in which you state that $2,500 was spent from NJCRLC funds on a list.  Do you have a copy of the invoice and the “ executed contract between NJCRLC and the vendor” regarding this list?  Forgive me for pointing this out counselor, but it seems a wee bit strange to expect a contract from a “loaned” list (subsequently stolen) if you don’t have one  for a list you actually paid money for.  I’ll expect copies of that invoice and contract from you by close of business on Friday.Your characterization of a highly valuable freshly updated list of EVERY Republican donor to federal, state, and local candidates in New Jersey as a “wasted asset” is — and please don’t take this the wrong way — suspect.  As a former candidate for federal and state office, I suspect you know the value of such an asset.  Ask Trustee Merkt or Trustee Littell about the value of such a list.  Ask Trustee Selby, she’s in the fundraising business.Trustee Selby has already directly told me — and others — that she has used said list to “prospect” for Scott Garrett.  I assure you that it will be used after NJCRLC is dissolved, so who gets it?  Should each trustee get a copy? Finally, and I want to get this straight, do you really intend to give Mr. S money while you allow him to continue to attack Trustee Littell, Assemblywoman McHose, and Senator Oroho?  He is, of course, free to attack me all he likes.  But do you really intend — out of some professional loyalty to Dick  — to stand by and allow the prime sponsors of the legislation to end Cap & Trade in New Jersey to be attacked?  Do you really intend to provide their attacker with the sustainence to maintain his attacks?  John, who are you?Again, my mistake in this was to trust fellow conservatives.

Sleep well,

– Bill
